#ArteNoRioGaleão

Partnership project with Hábil Design agency.

Rio de Janeiro's international airport receives thousands of tourists every year. The international boarding area is a busy place and that is why the agency was approached to give a new look to some idle panels at the location.

The agency proposed occupying the space with a variety of arts, but each segment with a different theme.

The idea was to create art that had some elements and icons from the city of Rio de Janeiro. Following the guidelines, I used vectors, in a reduced palette. As the airport's visual identity has curves, I sought to incorporate this idea in the art, mixing it with the visual elements. This panel was divided into three parts.

Panel 02 - Flight

In this part the idea was to portray some elements of waiting for the flight. Following the same palette as the previous illustration, I tried to incorporate the same idea of curves in the illustration.

Panel 03 - Connections

And finally, in this panel the idea was to portray encounters. The trip is marked by these moments, so I sought to encompass various ethnicities and affections in this illustration.

I used a texture technique on the vectors, it was quite an experience.
